A gold coin crowned with a diamond.
On February 6, 1952, the first televised British coronation enabled millions of people around
the world to witness the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Little did they know
it was the beginning of a historic reign—the second ever to last an impressive 60 years.
In 2012, Britain and the sixteen Commonwealth realms of which Queen Elizabeth II is the
reigning monarch, will stand front and centre as the world unites to celebrate a lifetime
of dedication and service for one of its most visible and popular monarchs.

Received mine in the mail today. Beautiful coin (a bit small, but very nice). There are two layers of boxes, which are well done!

Wow...Royal Canadian Mint!! "World's First" due to the fine diamond and an astonishing 99.999 percent pure gold. RCM used the best portraits of The Queen on the obverse (SB) and reverse (LM).This may in fact be the most prestigious contemporary gold coin in The World!! LLTQ

I bought it first and foremost as an investment for the future. At current gold/diamond prices is it not a good investment (for the short term) but I am looking at 10 years plus and the relative low mintage should help. As an aside however the coin in person is beautiful to behold. The photo does not do it justice, I just wish that it had been bigger(my usual gripe with the mints coins I guess I like size) as it should have been for the Queens jubilee. It is a unique and beautiful piece. Just a shame that it will go into a locker but I am happy to own such a beautiful coin and enjoy looking at it. It is by far better looking than gold bullion coins (obviously) and my other coins but then for the price and occasion that is a given. I initially ordered the coin on 6th January and received it 17th February despite calling every week(its been hard work). Finally I got the right staff member who was on the ball and sorted it all out in 2 days! Incidentally I feel its a bit cheeky to say the coin is out of stock to buy on its own now but is available for $10,000 with two others (poor value).

Very disappointed in the RCM. Claims this is now sold out, but there exists anothe 375 in a set with unwanted foreign coins. I would like to purchase only the $300 Jubileee, but there is never any RCM response from customer service when you contact them via the website? Please assist Masters Club Members promptly!

I bought this coin as a gift for the unique design as well one of the kind. However, the purchasing process was too long. I purchased in Dec 15, 2011 and received on Jan 26, 2012... The web account is poorly manage and not enough status detail updates. The coin is small. It should be at one ounce of gold. There was no special care when the coin was packaged. It has nicks, scratch, & marks on the coin face, which partly devalue the coin quality. Given the message of the design, its price, and materials, special care should be considered; but it did not! The design is GREAT! But the care n coin casing are very POOR! Poor workmanship! I wish I did not purchase this item, but too late.

It is interesting because it is unique. It is a bit on the expensive side. I would like to see a more larger and better quality diamond on the coin, since it is the DIAMOND JUBILEE and reference to Her Majesty The Queen and her reign. It is a profoundly historic event and as such, i would have thought that the emphasiss would be a bit higher on the diamond. Over all it was a good idea and design.I thought that the diamond was not placed in the most effective place on the coin. I would have liked to have seen the diamond placed either on the crown or closer to the hand. As it is, it looks like it is just there in the space without a specific or perticular intent. In my opinion, if that was the case than it would have been perfect.
