Special Wrap 50-Cent Circulation Coin Roll (2011)
Act Now: 2010 edition sold out in 47 days!
There's a timeless sense of history crafted into this 50-cent coin that
was once an everyday part of commerce. It features Canada's Coat of
Arms, a heraldic art form dating back centuries that was officially
declared by King George V in 1921. The Arms first appeared on the
50-cent coin in 1937 and was updated in 1957 and 1994.
Highlights: Fifty-cent coins are no longer in circulation but collectors can still enjoy this rarity by acquiring a coin roll freshly minted for 2011, each one a distinctive collectible that can add a special touch to any gift.
Reverse: Canada's Coat of Arms as updated by Cathy Bursey-Sabourin, Fraser Herald and principal artist of the Canadian Heraldic Authority, in 1994. A new ribbon was added around the shield. Its inscription Desiderantes Meliorem Patriam (They desire a better country) is from the Order of Canada.
