Legend tells that the Phoenix was a supernatural creature. Every five hundred years it returned to its birthplace where it died and was reborn, rising from the ashes to live again. In Feng Shui, the Phoenix as Queen of all birds represents Yin or female energies. It may evoke images of resilience, strength, and transformation, as the Phoenix is able to rise from its own ashes to reach greater heights. The powerful energies of the Phoenix will bring strength and positive transformation into your life, according to the ancient Chinese philosophy of Feng Shui.

A great addition to the Feng Shui series. Also purchased one of the new display frames to hold my 4 favourites from the NZ Mint: Koi, Cranes, Phoenix and Dragon. A truly beautiful coin, and a very reasonable price.

Why is the face value 2$? and not 20$, is it b,cos it's 99.9, but it's so expensive, for 128$ the value should be the same as your 1 ozs coin, it's not easy to understand the price of the coin and the face value of the coin, the price and value should be the same.. I don't get it...I would not buy this coin with 2$ value, but it looks like a nice coin

Mo

Each mint has their own approach to coin denominations. RCM tends to use a $20 denomination on 1oz silver, but some other mints use different denominations as related to the currency of the country of issue. A coin must have a denomination to be legal tender, however it is only one part of the value of collectible coins.

99.9% or 99.99% which is the most pure silver???

Mo

99.99% silver would be more pure than 99.9% silver.

Josh (Product Team)

Hi Mo, 99.99% is purer than 99.9% silver. The '1 oz. Fine Silver Coloured Coin - Feng Shui: Phoenix (2015)' from the New Zealand Mint is 99.9% pure silver. Most silver coins from the Royal Canadian Mint are 99.99% pure silver.

Chad

I have received my Feng Shui coin, inside the box was a slip of paper that said to go to www.mint.ca/certificates when I did this I did not find any certificates. Is there a certificate for this coin?

Cheryl

Thank you for your question. The certificate in PDF format is available at the link you provided, near the bottom of the page.
