The perfect gift for someone born in the Year of the Sheep!

The year 2015 is ruled by the Sheep. The creative Sheep personality embodies wealth, warmth and loveliness. Good things seem to come to the Sheep naturally because of its irresistibly good nature. The Sheep rarely speaks its mind. It will go with the flow and only object when things aren't going its way. Push too hard and it will react—decisively! The gregarious Sheep is an eternal romantic. It adores being showered with love and attention.

The Year of the Sheep also ruled 1907, 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991 and 2003.  However, people born in January or February should consult the Chinese lunar calendar. New Year does not automatically fall on January 1st. This celebration is better known as the Spring Festival and coincides with the first day of spring—a date that shifts from year to year depending upon the lunar cycle and solar year.

I am an Aries and purchased this coin as a Christmas gift for myself. I love the design and from a distance looks realy good. I don't know if the colouring is done right on the coin or if it's pasted on like a sticker (as it looks up close) but maybe a glossy paint instead of flat would give it a better look.

I wanted to be more impressed with this coin than I am. While the design is unique, one of a kind, the Ram is a picture laid on, not painted on. The coin is small and expensive and in my opinion there are better examples of year of the Goat coins out there. I am also thinking that it is time for the Canadian Mint to put something different on the reverse of coins, for me, not a Canadian, Her Majasty on everything is boring and for the price of all your coins I would like different and related images on both sides. The 99.999% will keep me coming back for ever more

I'm a sheep so I got one.

I'm a sheep so I had to get this coin, it's a great looking coin. I collect only colored coins for the past 15 years. Maybe this will add to my luck and good fortune. Or it will sit in my display case with all the other quality coins I have been collecting. Too bad it doesn't glow in the dark.

"Fine" Doesn't Begin to Describe This!

5

This coin is a true stunner. It was reasonably attractive in the picture, but when it arrived, I discovered that the picture does not do the coin justice. There is a depth and smoothness that doesn't come through on the photograph. This coin well-exceeded my expectations, and I will keep it as my own treasure. Any prior thoughts of possibly giving it as a gift are gone. This one is MINE!

Nice Design

I would say that if you want to follow up a tradition, RCM should learn more about the Chinese "Horoscope". The coin series should begin with the year of the Mouse/Rat, not with the year of Sheep/Goat.
