    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Intelligence & Research, The Senior Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex customer, product, channel and market data in order to provide customer insights, forecast, predictive models and reporting / dashboards on current and future results that will enable prioritization of high impact business opportunities. The Senior Analyst also plays a key role in the implementation of data hygiene best practices and in supporting the development of an analytics / business intelligence and systems strategy that will better support data driven decision making.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Devising analysis, reporting, and system capability solutions, and providing decision makers with actionable business intelligence.
    • Manipulating and analyzing complex, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques such as trend analysis, regression analysis, multi-factor analysis, variance analysis, correlation analysis and stat testing.
    • Develop customer behavior and forecast approaches, predictive and data modeling frameworks in response to evolving business requirements.
    • Suggesting new approaches to analyzing information, new projects to build on completed executions and identifying ways to create a 360-degree view of customers that integrates transactional and purchase behavior with consumer research and other data source such as social media and digital data.
    • Analyze the current organizational data management practices, inclusive of relevant systems, identify gaps and make recommendations on a strategy to grow and expand internal capabilities to ensure the future of customer data management.
    • Use data mining techniques in combination with superior spreadsheet abilities to develop and implement OLAP reporting templates, dashboards for specific initiatives and benchmark reports that provide key performance measurements, evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness, track customer behavior and movements across segments within the database, attribute revenue to the appropriate marketing vehicles/channels and identify other drivers of insight important to growing the business.
    • Be the Lead contact and primary liaison for collaborating with cross-functional Teams in Sales, IT, Business Intelligence and Marketing as needed to ensure alignment on operational analyses and reporting approaches.


    • University degree in Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operation Research, Bioinformatics, or similar or MBA in Marketing or Business Analytics. Masters is and asset
    • Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience analyzing customer transaction data using SQL (Teradata, Oracle, or MySQL) or other analytics databases or statistical packages.
    • Experience in leveraging marketing automation tools in support of customer tagging and scoring as well as social, email and other digital media optimization
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, modeling etc.)
    • Data management systems and hygiene management experience
    • Strong research and analytical mindset and extremely detail-oriented
    • Self-motivated, energetic, "can-do" attitude in a fast-moving environment
    • Strong communication skills, written and verbal; ability to present data and its implications in a clear, concise manner to all levels of management
    • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, being able to build bridges and confront tough issues that need to be resolved.
    • Ability to manage priorities across multiple stakeholders
