Director, IT Infrastructure & Operations

    Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Director, IT Infrastructure & Operations is responsible for  providing technology leadership and vision for IT infrastructure across RCM and for translating that vision into a highly reliable, cost effective environment. This leader will also ensure standards of operational excellence are implemented with a focus on delivering solutions with exceptional customer service.   The incumbent is responsible for leading a team of approximately 20 people.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership to the IT Operations and Support teams and build a team that continuously drives a culture of customer and business value; the IT team is focused on adding value to our business while delivering and continuing to improve on operational KPI's that improve our service to the business.
    • Build a comprehensive IT Infrastructure & Operations strategy that scales with our business growth and develop and execute on plans to deliver on that strategy, including third -party relationships that best deliver the RCM's information systems; Plan and manage the IT infrastructure budget, make recommendations to improve overall efficacy of the Infrastructure and Operations function.
    • Build strategic relationships across business lines; be an IT infrastructure and telecom expert and change leader that can bridge technical and non-technical requirements.
    • As a subject matter expert in Infrastructure and Operations, you will support your leader and your peers in contributing to the overall CIO strategy and execution of operational excellence.
    • Accountable to standardize incident and change policies and protocols across the organization while remaining nimble and agile.
    • Accountable to deliver continuous process improvements and innovation on meeting KPI's, including overall system availability and Service Desk Management.
    • Accountable to deliver, including maintaining a detailed plan for disaster recovery for our various lines of business and locations.

    Requirements:

    • BA Computer Science, Engineering or related field. MA in Computer Science, Engineering or Business is preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years' technical hands on experience in IT functions, including System Administration, Servers, Storage, Network Engineering, Information Security and Infrastructure as a Service
    • Minimum of 10 years progressive IT leadership experience with demonstrated success delivering in a transformation/high performance environment.
    • Manufacturing/Retail industry experience is highly desirable, but other relevant backgrounds will be considered.
    • Demonstrated success leading the introduction of new technologies and standards in an evolving environment ( e.g. web/cloud-based applications, Video Collaboration, SaaS, user vs. IT maintained applications, mobility applications, security, etc.).
    • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written to support the CIO in communicating the value proposition of Infrastructure and Operations at all levels at the RCM; telling the story with your team and ensuring they can deliver that message with their peers and throughout RCM.
    • Demonstrated success in partnering with other business leaders to drive organizational transformation and innovation.
    • Demonstrated success as a strong change agent and leader, with a track record of creating high performance teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to execute on multiple projects and changing priorities and requirements, while keeping the team focused on delivering on operational tasks in order to achieve continuous improvement.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, prioritization and organizational skills.
    • Demonstrated success with customer driven delivery.
