Yes, you can purchase RCM products from mint.ca. In addition to mint.ca, RCM products can be purchased by phone, through the RCM's mobile application or from one of RCM's retail locations in Ottawa, Winnipeg and Vancouver. To ensure that American residents always benefit from the most competitive exchange rates, all items in our catalogues are listed in Canadian dollars only. If you are in the US and paying by credit card, your credit card company will automatically convert the payment to US funds at the time of shipment. Should you wish to pay by money order or certified check, please call 1 800 268-6468 and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you.

The United States Customs and Border Protection (USCBP) requires that a US-based Ultimate Consignee or Foreign-based Ultimate Consignee or receiver of the goods provide a US Social Security Number (SSN) or Internal Revenue Service (IRS) employer identification number for any order equal to or exceeding US$2,000. In order to comply with US Customs regulations, the Royal Canadian Mint will now require your SSN or IRS number when you place an order that equals or exceeds US$2,000 in value. This information will be recorded in the US Customs Service computer system for customs purposes only.

Some benefits of Masters Club, including participation in contests and draws is limited to Canadian participants only.

What are the details for when qualifying Masters Club members can have exclusive access to select coins for Masters Club members?

The select coins are available for purchase by qualified Masters Club members during a 45-day period after the coin(s) is released. There is a purchase limit of one per household. If any coins remain unsold at the end of the 45-day period, they will be offered to SILVER Masters Club members for a 2-day period, then to all other Royal Canadian Mint customers.

Can purchases made at a Royal Canadian Mint store count towards my Masters Club membership?

Purchases of RCM products made at a Royal Canadian Mint Store during a Program Year can be applied to your Masters Club account by sending the Royal Canadian Mint a copy of your proof of purchase and a request to have the purchase count towards your Masters Club membership. Copies of proof of purchase can be emailed to CustomerService.web@mint.ca or mailed to Customer Service, 320 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0G8.

Do purchases of non-coin products (such coin accessories, collection cases, etc.) made from mint.ca, by phone or at a Royal Canadian Mint Store count towards my Masters Club membership?

All RCM products, even for items that are not coins, made at mint.ca, through the Royal Canadian Mint Customer Service Centre or at a Royal Canadian Mint store are eligible to count towards your Masters Club membership.

What happens if I return a product?

If you return a product to the Royal Canadian Mint, any free gift(s) received as a result of the original purchase must be returned along with the product(s). Cancellation of Masters Club membership may result otherwise, at the discretion of the Royal Canadian Mint.

Why is there a 31-day waiting period after I have qualified to receive some benefits associated with my Masters Club level?

For some benefits like exclusive access to purchase select coins for Masters Club members, entry in random draws and invitations to Masters Club events in select cities, there may be a waiting period of 31 days after qualifying for these benefits before the benefit(s) will be delivered or available. This is to allow sufficient time for your order to be delivered (and inspected to ensure it meets your level of satisfaction) and that there will be no product returns before permitting access to those benefits.

When will the free coin be delivered?

Masters Club members who are eligible to receive a free coin will receive their coin in the Fall of each Program Year. It will be delivered via postal service with signature required. The Royal Canadian Mint will provide the member with at least five days notice by email before the coin ships and will also inform the member by email on the day the coin is shipped. The member will be provided with a tracking number to monitor delivery.

Why is the Masters Club program changing?

From our initial implementation of the new Masters Club program in 2015, and throughout the first full Program Year, our most critical objective has been to give our valued customers the benefits and rewards they really want. In the same way that we undertook careful research to inform the first version of the program, from focus groups to surveys and interviews, we have continued to assess Masters Club members' satisfaction with the benefits line-up. The changes we have made for the 2016-2017 Program Year reflect the feedback we received from members like you.

What are the key changes for the new Program Year?

We're excited to announce that we have added some exclusive benefits that should delight members at many levels. These changes include the addition of a fourth exclusive coin that's available only to members of Masters Club GOLD and higher. We are also adding a new benefit: access to the lowest serialized certificate numbers for select coins throughout the year—for members of Masters Club only. And one of our most exciting changes is the introduction of our new Masters Club Rewards program, which allows Masters Club PLATINUM and higher to earn a percentage back on their purchases of Eligible RCM Products.

Are there any other program changes I should be aware of?

The following products do not count toward Eligible RCM Products: Face Value and Commemorative Circulation coins, which means that they do not earn percentage back and cannot be purchased using the redemption code.

What are Masters Club Exclusive Coins?

The RCM will produce a select number of coins annually in which at least 90% of the mintage is reserved for Masters Club members in Gold and Platinum tiers for the first 45 days after release.

What are low Certificate of Authenticity numbers?

The Royal Canadian Mint certifies all of its collector coins. Most of these are serialized certifications, meaning that each certificate is given a unique number, starting at "1." Low Certificate of Authenticity numbers refers to the lowest range of serialized certificate numbers associated with a coin. Many collectors feel that these lower numbers are more valuable. Our discussions with customers and other research have made it clear to us that this is a benefit that collectors find valuable and which enhances their collecting experience. We will be making the lowest serialized certificate numbers on select products available only to members of Masters Club throughout the year.

How do I order my low Certificate of Authenticity number coin?

Each product we select for this benefit will have two item numbers. One of these item numbers will be available only to Masters Club members, both online and through the catalogue. The certificate of authenticity ranges will depend on each coin's mintage. The quantities will be low, so you will have to move quickly to acquire yours.

How do I receive my Masters Club Reward redemption code?

Among thenew benefits we are introducing this year, Masters Club Rewards is surely one of the most exciting. With Masters Club Rewards, you earn a percentage back on every purchase of Eligible RCM Products you make. After the close of the Program Year, you will receive your Masters Club Rewards redemption code for the previous Program Year. You can use the redemption code toward the purchase of any Eligible RCM Product. Available to Masters Club PLATINUM level and higher.
