MASTERS CLUB PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective Date: July 1, 2016
The Masters Club program ("MC Program") is an exclusive loyalty program offered to customers of the Royal Canadian Mint ("RCM"). These MC Program terms and conditions ("MC Program Terms and Conditions") govern RCM customers' participation in the MC Program. By participating in the MC Program, customers agree to be bound by these MC Program Terms and Conditions.
MEMBERSHIP IN THE MC PROGRAM
The MC Program is open to any individual or entity resident in Canada or the United States that is not participating in any other discount or rebate program offered by the RCM. RCM dealers are not eligible to participate in the MC Program.
For the purposes of these MC Program Terms and Conditions, a "Program Year" is the 365 day (or 366 day for a leap year) period between July 1 and June 30.
Becoming a Member
An eligible RCM customer automatically becomes a MC Program member upon the purchase of $1,000 or more (exclusive of taxes) of RCM products from the RCM during a Program Year. To be eligible, purchases must be made from the RCM directly (i.e. through the RCM call centre, online at mint.ca, through the RCM mobile application or from one of the RCM's retail locations). In order for a purchase made from one of the RCM's retail locations to count toward MC Program membership, a customer or MC Program member must either: (i) at the time of sale, indicate their intention to have the purchase count towards their MC Program membership for the Program Year; or (ii) send in a copy of the proof of purchase to the RCM with a request to have the purchase count towards their MC Program membership. Copies of proof of purchase must be emailed to CustomerService.firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to Customer Service, 320 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, ON, K1A 0G8 and must be received by the RCM within the same Program Year as the purchase was made. The purchase amount (exclusive of tax) will be applied to a member's account as of the date that the proof of purchase was received by the RCM.
In order to take advantage of certain services offered to MC Program members, members will need to register their account with the RCM at mint.ca/register.
The MC Program membership account must be in the name of the individual who made the qualifying purchases. Qualifying purchases are not transferrable to other customers, members or accounts.
Membership Tiers and Benefits
There are five tiers in the MC Program: SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM, PLATINUM PLUS and PLATINUM PRESTIGE. Membership tier is determined by a member's total purchases of RCM products from the RCM during a Program Year. A membership tier is achieved or renewed based on the following minimum purchase amounts (exclusive of taxes) from the RCM during a Program year:
- SILVER: $1,000
- GOLD: $1,500
- PLATINUM: $2,000
- PLATINUM PLUS: $5,000
- PLATINUM PRESTIGE: $10,000
Once a member reaches a tier during a Program Year, the member will be eligible for all benefits associated with that tier for the remainder of that Program Year and for the following Program Year, subject to applicable eligibility restrictions (such as eligibility deadlines for certain benefits).

Moving Between Tiers
A MC Program member who makes sufficient purchases from the RCM during a Program Year to graduate from a lower tier to a higher tier becomes eligible for all new membership benefits associated with the higher tier for the remainder that Program Year and for the following Program Year, subject to any eligibility restrictions. Duplicate benefits will not be provided.
