Reporting to the Senior Manager, eCommerce & Digital Customer Experience, we are seeking an extraordinary Digital Design Lead to join our eCommerce Marketing team. You’ll get to work on our English and French national web properties and email campaigns bringing inspiring content to our customers, providing design direction and design reviews for a team of talented web specialists and above all, designing customized digital experiences to reach the right customer with the right product at the right time.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality digital designs that drive customer engagement and conversion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, product, and sales to create innovative and brand enhancing web assets and email communications for monthly product launches
- Design merchandizing emails for targeted audiences
- Provide design direction and oversight to ensure design excellence and consistency aligned to Mint strategy
- Lead design reviews and collaborate with team members to ensure proper implementation across digital customer touch points, and ensure consistency and integrity of the creative vision
- Maintain and oversee the Mint’s design system
- Create digital assets for web pages, emails, banners, and social media ads for national marketing campaigns
- Contribute to Agile meetings including Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, as the design subject matter expert
Qualifications:
- College diploma or certificate in related area or a combination of education and relevant work experience
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in website, email, and digital design
- Highly proficient with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, XD, or similar
- Experience with digital marketing, email marketing, segmentation, personalization and targeting technologies
- Experience creating and managing design systems and style guides
- Advanced understanding of email design
- Expert understanding of visual design principles
- Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices and digital marketing to optimize the customer experience and journey
- Knowledge of UX best practices and Web Accessibility standards
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and the ability to create designs optimized for various screen sizes and devices
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience working with HTML/CSS is a strong asset
- Experience working in an Agile environment is an asset
- Bilingualism is an asset
