The Royal Canadian Mint (Mint) is hiring a Senior Program Manager, Cloud Application Enablement who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Analytics, Data Management & Governance. The Senior Program Manager will play a lead role for the Royal Canadian Mint in the Information Management architecture, integration and deployment strategy at the Mint.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Presents to IT Leaders, Business Leaders, VP’s, Steer Co’s and Executive Sponsors the overall business solution architecture to address Digital Transformation Project Priorities related to adoption of Cloud application solutions to address Business Challenges including Information Management, Access to Information (ATIP), End User Target State (M365, Sharepoint on line) and Robotics Innovation.
- Work closely with the IT Leaders, EARC and EA working committee and technical teams, vendor partners and business leaders to recommending final solution design.
- Works closely with the Director of Enterprise Applications and the Director of Data Architecture, Data Governance and Information Management to provide strategic direction and guidance to the technical teams, as well as, provide Business Leaders a vision of the “target state” Business Capabilities
- Works with business teams and the system integrator on the design, configuration and implementation and advise how to use Cloud Applications to meet their business requirements.
- Transforms business requirements into a straightforward and technical model, and match processes to application requirements.
- Reviews client business processes, business requirement and system design, encourage business process optimization and industry standards.
- Leads and facilitate workshops with business users, consultants and business leads to analyze and design solutions for any application, and handle gaps detected during prototyping.
- Provides leadership to the completion of Prototype and configure processes in Cloud Applications to make sure the system works the way business users need it.
- Works with the business stakeholders to streamline existing processes with ATIP and Information Management Best practices.
- Utilizes software solutions as much as possible, the GOC approved solutions, especially those already successfully deployed throughout GOC.
- Supports testing the proposed system and train users.
- Conducts and provides User training to the internal clients.
Requirements
- Technical diploma or undergraduate diploma in an accounting, finance, business, information technology or corresponding education from work experience.
- Possess at least three (3) years implementing D365 Finance and Operations.
- Working knowledge of Sharepoint, M365, ATIP solutions, Robotics, Information Management and Information Classification
- Knowledge in Budgeting and Project Budgeting.
- Knowledge in Project Management.
- Have an expert command of MS Office tools.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Possess good oral and written communication skills, in English and French is desirable.
- Experienced in business process reengineering, Information Management and ATIP
- Experience with other Dynamics solutions (Power apps, CRM) a plus.
- Experience in designing solutions to meet customer requirements, via specifications
- Solves complex problems with creative solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with consultants, business users, functional and technical resources.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Be customer service oriented.
- Have good team spirit.
