    Robert Ganz


    Ganz designed the 2012 $10 Fine Silver Coin - Praying Mantis

    I was born in Kenya, East Africa and grew up with an appreciation for the richness and variety of life around me. Returning to Canada, I took one photography course in high school, but photography itself remained a simple hobby. I attended Mount Allison University in Sackville New Brunswick where I studied biology.

    My photography became a passion with the advent of digital technology. I have won numerous contests, and have been published in Canadian Geographic, Popular Photography, biology textbooks, and many photography textbooks.

    I specialize in macro photography, but enjoy shooting wildlife, people and landscapes as well. I currently live in Montreal West, Quebec.

    Ganz designed the 2012 $10 Fine Silver Coin - Praying Mantis.
