It is wonderful to see birds native to Canada depicted on coins. I admit I am terribly biased. Even so, you can't beat seeing a Canada goose in flight! They are masters of the sky. It is their sky.

Be careful, "legal tender" suggests that stores, banks and, at least coins shops, will readily pay face value for the coin. However just today, a coin dealer refused to buy from me a 20 for 20 silver piece at face value. So you CAN go wrong by purchasing these. Get bullion instead. You'll at least be able to opt out selling by weight. Since my coin shop doesn't see value in these, I can't either.

Don't know if I was reading it right? Free shipping now versus when I subscribed beforehand for four 2014 coins and have to be charged for shipping of $2.99 ! I would call and cancel my subscription ! From now on I'd just wait and order every time each coin comes out.

This is a very nice coin. That's all I can say though. It is a little plain. Not the cream of the crop but the detail in the wings is very good. This is not an original design. It is kinda similar to the 1967 centennial sets dollar. Otherwise this is a good buy but not the best available.

As usual the mint delivers the quality were used too. A+ on the craftsmanship and design. love the idea of a $20 coin for $20 . The one con to that would be the fact that its not actually legal tender. at least from the numerous stories of people not being able to exchange their $20 coin for $20 at banks etc. This to me kind of defeats the whole purpose of the $20 for $20 promo. I had collected every coin up to the point where I discovered that, I also intended to buy all the $100 for $100 coins. however, once I discovered their not legal tender I sold them all, and didn't bother with the $100 coins.I still buy the $20 but just for a quick resell. hard to believe the company that mints our legal tender coins also mints coins with Canadian numerical value on them that aren't legal tender. maybe it should say $20 "fun" dollars on it so people know its only play money. I've always been a big fan of RCM, and as I stated earlier it is a beautiful coin, but I'm having a hard time getting over this big loophole.just my 2 cents.... or $20 ;)
