I like the color. Why a limitation? (no offense, simple curiosity)

For all Canadians, the poppy is a poignant symbol of remembrance. By remembering the sacrifices they've made, we’re really saying "Thank you." This Remembrance Day, honour every veteran and current Canadian Forces member by treasuring the Royal Canadian Mint’s new commemorative 25-cent Poppy circulation coin.
Although millions of 25-cent coloured poppy coins are in circulation today, this special 10-pack format is a sure and easy way to get your poppy coin and take a moment to honour Remembrance Day.

[...] the limitation on this coin is a joke... don't ask me why, you know what i'm talking about.

Very touching coin, especially since its a picture of our son taken in North Korea, while standing guard at a memmorial statue.

I made a bolo tie using the coins and intend wearing it every Rememberence Day. I would like to see the same design on a silver dollar

Wish there wasn't a 2 per customer limit. Also free shipping would have been nice. Like they did with past similar coins.

I started to collect coins this year and I sent copies of this one to my numerous Third Reich dealers in the United States with a note attached saying `This is to commemorate Hitler Kaput 65 years ago`.(What the Russians said to Germans in 1945). EVERYONE thought it was a great coin and they told me that they wished the USA did something similar (apparently the only thing was a few postage stamps on famous sailors and army artists).. I also sent them to relatives in Germany who appreciated them, but they have their own days and ceremonies regarding the loss of lives in wars for the month of November. BTW please don`t call it a Rememberance Day coin, that specific day deals with the Armitage from 1918,(RCM issued one in 2008) that divided up Europe, that started WW2. May I boast that I spent one week visiting 4 post offices on a daily basis to get 1-2 rolls from each office of those coins? I feel proud when I look at those numerous rolls in the wooden wine box.

Once again the RCM Remembers our fallen soldiers, men and woman who serve our great Country. This is a great and affordable coin for new collectors and youth to remember as well. I have all the RCM Poppy coins in my collection, even all the test tokens and this one i think is the best one of the 25 cent variety. Thanks again RCM and look forward to more poppy coins.
