Pretty Bird
Robins fight aggressively over nesting trees. What a beautiful bird!

The American Robin is North America’s largest thrush. The orange-breasted bird’s calls and songs are one of its most distinctive features. Males tend to be the more vocal of the species, singing from high atop trees early in the morning and as part of the American Robin’s elaborate courtship rituals. Although it originally inhabited primarily the forest clearings of North America, the American Robin has become one of the few species to have benefitted from urbanization. The growth of large swathes of open fields and lawn, accompanied by treed gardens and parks in residential areas, created habitat for the species, giving it easy access to its preferred diet of fruit, berries, worms and grubs.

Use this as a GREAT memory. The ONLY thing I would like is to Get a ACCOUNT update for when I started. Also YOU guys have to have the MOST DETAILED coins I have seen. I have got some from U.S. and NONE come close to YOUR detail.

I have always loved Robins. I am glad to see they made the bird series. I would still like to see the mintage a little lower. Definitely better then the 20.000 of the last two birds.

The coin is very nice. I didn't have to wait for months for it to arrive either (unlike last year with the grosbeak coins.) Sorry, I could't resist another dig at the mint for last year's poor service. The coins is truly very nice and makes a welcome addition to the series.

In Saskatchewan the robin heralds in spring, a joy from the bleak winter.

I am a collector and this will compliment the bird collection very nicely. It is beautiful and detailed. This release reminds me of the popularity of the Gold Finch back in 2010. Very detailed and colorful. I can't think of anything negative about it.
