I really feel that this particular item does not reflect the usual high standards of craftmanship and value for your dollar normally offered by the Mint. Quite frankly, they look cheap in appearance. This was going to be a gift. It is too bad that the penny cufflinks are all sold out as they were nice items plus 1/3 the price.

Good presentation with Burks blue box and accompanying bow-tied ribbon but product simply tossed into sack where they come into contact with one another thus leaving them prone to scratches. Consider fine if the intention is to wear them but as a collector item, very disappointing.
