Visit the Mint

Winnipeg Location

Monday, July 6, 2020 the Royal Canadian Mint will reopen its boutique. Tours of the Winnipeg facility will be resuming on Monday, July 13. Guests wanting to take a tour must call ahead and book a reservation, 204-984-1144. There will be limited walk-up tours available. A full list of our COVID-19 RESPONSE IS AVAILABLE HERE.

As of Friday, August 28, the Royal Canadian Mint has a mandatory face covering policy in place. All guests 5 years of age or older must wear a mask, or face covering that securely covers the nose, mouth and chin while in the boutique and/or on the tour walk.

We are committed to doing everything we can to keep our employees, customers and visitors healthy and safe. As the COVID-19 situation is ongoing, we will be closely monitoring the situation and adjusting our operations as needed.

Before Your Visit

  • Before your visit to the Royal Canadian Mint, please complete Manitoba's COVID-19 online screening tool to assess whether you are healthy. If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, please schedule your visit to the RCM to a later date
  • Call 204-984-1144 to make a reservation as we are limiting occupancy at our facility.
