In Flanders Fields Colouring Sheet
In May 1915 following the Second Battle of Ypres in Belgium, Canadian surgeon Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae wrote “In Flanders Fields” – a poem that established the poppy as a symbol of remembrance for fallen soldiers.

End of the Second World War Colouring Sheet
On September 2nd, the Royal Canadian Mint released a 2020 commemorative toonie in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Featuring the iconic “V” inspired by the original Victory nickel, we added colour to the new coin – and now it’s your turn!

If you have ever visited our Winnipeg or Ottawa facility, you’ve probably met one of the Mint’s most famous members of security, and honorary member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). At 5.6 feet tall, our wise moose has been keeping a watchful eye over our buildings, team members, and visitors for over 15 years!
