We are currently seeking a superstar Advisor, Content Marketing to join our Marketing team through December 2024.

You’ll dive into content development for all digital channels and use your creativity to engage on our active English and French national social audiences by bringing customized, inspiring content to the masses. You’ll have the chance to write targeted content for our various customer personas all while travelling back into history, delving into nature, and learning oh so much about this beautiful country of ours.
Your Responsibilities:
- Working in agile, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders plus our agencies to create outstanding on-brand customer content.
- We expect you to research both content and consumer trends to create relevant and topical messaging.
- We need you to create content including photography and videography for a variety of platforms including blogs, websites, and social media (to name a few).
- It will be especially important that you bring proofreading and editing skills to the table that you will always use before publishing.
- You will assist with managing content calendars and ensuring that messaging remains consistent across all platforms.
- Monitor, listen (really listen) and respond to users to engage and delight, engaging them in meaningful conversations.
- We’ll need you to track customer and content analytics and author reports and top-notch presentations as required.
- We expect you to stay up to date with, and share with the team, current content trends, consumer preferences advancements, and relevant messaging technology developments.
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in related area
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing content experience
- Bilingual (English and French) mandatory
- Be able to frequently come into the Ottawa location
- Travel is estimated at approximately 25% with flexible work time for weekend events
- Be an expert in digital content writing with extensive social media experience
- Have a high level of experience with marketing and products and services sales including customer communications in an ecommerce environment
- Have extensive knowledge of most current digital platforms, technologies, trends, and tools.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, including optimizing organic search traffic through content
- Bring a strong visual point of view to deliver insightful, well-designed content, including video
- Be able to work collaboratively and with agility in cross-functional teams to achieve results
