The Royal Canadian Mint is hiring a Coordinator, Foreign Circulation who can thrive in a dynamic, variable, and inclusive environment.

Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, Foreign Circulation, the Coordinator is responsible for a wide range of administrative and general support duties of a highly confidential nature, relating to commercial activities in global markets. Many of the sales support tasks relate to government procurement activities in Latin America, so an ability to read, consolidate, and prepare documents in Spanish is critical. Administrative tasks are varied, but have a strong focus on supporting / organizing international travel and expense administration of the Senior Sales Manager. The candidate must be able to respond appropriately as priorities change quickly, and meet timelines according to requirements. They act as the administrative contact with members of the extended RCM team, in Canada and abroad.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • College degree in administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of related business / coordination / administrative experience

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong writing, proof-reading and editing skills to compose, edit and review documentation and correspondence
  • Ability to read and consolidate technical documents
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills; uses tact and diplomacy with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Successfully manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Maintain confidentiality of all customer and company information
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate (oral and written) in Spanish is required

Knowledge:

  • Experience with administrative tasks: managing digital files, scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and others
  • Travel booking and administration experience, an asset
  • Knowledge of and experience working in various cultural environments would be an asset
