The Royal Canadian Mint is hiring full-time term Operators, Production who can thrive in a dynamic, inclusive and fast-paced environment.
The Operators set-up, adjust and maintain production machinery and related equipment as well as perform material handling functions. One year of previous experience working in a manufacturing is required.
Your Responsibilities:
Flexibility is key! We require employees who are willing to work on a variety of shifts. Operators may be working on a rotational shift pattern of days, evenings and nights. The days of work are comprised of weekends and three consecutive days prior to or after the weekend (Wed-Sun, Thurs-Mon, Fri-Tues, Sat-Wed).
Employees will frequently be lifting up to 30 pounds and sitting or standing for long periods.
