Reporting to the Director, Project Management Office (PMO), the Sr. PM is responsible to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget. In this role, you will lead practices for Organisational Change Management (OCM) and will design and implement OCM frameworks, methodologies and roadmaps to build and enable change management capabilities. You will work on acquiring the necessary resources and coordinate the efforts of team members which can include third-party contractors and consultants to deliver projects according to plan. You will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Mint's strategic business plans and identify ways to add value in achieving corporate goals and objectives.
- Leads the management, design, development and delivery of programs that drive organizational change for improved business outcomes and organizational readiness
- Collaborate with other leaders on the agreed-upon process that develops plans and prioritization by Mint leadership.
- Act as key liaison between the PMO and other Business Teams to communicate priorities and provide regular reporting.
- Engage senior leadership and business partners to organize and communicate key deliverables.
- Provide ongoing assistance and support to Project Managers, Business Analysts, Change Advisors and other project team members.
Qualifications:
Language Requirements :
- An advanced level of bilingual proficiency in both official languages (English / French) is required at the time of hire. If a bilingual candidate is not identified, other language profiles may be considered in accordance with the Mint’s Staffing Policy.
Education & Designation:
- University Degree or College Degree in a related area or an acceptable combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Successful completion of a PMP certification.
- Certified in Change Management methodology (ex. Prosci).
Experience :
- Minimum of 10 years of related business experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of project management experience working on projects centred around implementing Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Significant experience using different project management methodologies such as waterfall and agile.
Additional Qualifications:
- In depth knowledge of project budgeting, procurement, organizational change management, and analytics.
- Strong technical skills in MS Project, Azure DevOps, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Word.
- Demonstrated project management skills including the ability to manage a diverse workload and multiple simultaneous projects.
- Ability to manage effectively under pressure for meeting strict deadlines.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to senior executives and large audiences.
- The ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and champion change with a variety of stakeholders across the organization.
This opening may be filled on a hybrid working arrangement and the incumbent will be required to work from the Ottawa location a minimum of three (3) days a week which could change based on operational requirements.
