The Mint is hiring a Senior Manager, Delivery IT Infrastructure who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Reporting to the Director, Cloud & Infrastructure the Senior Manager, Delivery, IT Infrastructure is responsible for the delivery, operation, stability, and continuous improvement of the Mint’s infrastructure services and technology programs. This role leads multi-disciplinary staff (network, compute, storage, cloud, workplace, identity, security), ensuring reliable day-to-day operations while delivering strategic infrastructure initiatives aligned with business objectives, security and compliance requirements, and service reliability goals. The Senior Manager establishes governance frameworks, manages risk, optimizes resources and drives both operational excellence and technology modernization.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operation, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure platforms, ensuring service availability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Oversee incident, problem, change, capacity, and lifecycle management activities, ensuring operational risks are proactively identified and addressed.
- Direct infrastructure operational readiness, monitoring, maintenance, disaster recovery, vendor support, and service restoration activities for critical business services.
- Oversee infrastructure initiatives (programs, projects, releases, platform upgrades, and technology refreshes) from planning through deployment, stabilization, and ongoing operational support.
- Establish delivery governance (stage gates, RAID logs, change control, QA, release planning) and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles, target state architecture and system configuration standards.
- Manage infrastructure lifecycle planning, technology refresh programs, vulnerability remediation, patching, maintenance activities, and technical debt reduction initiatives
- Maintain business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, recovery, and resilience capabilities for critical infrastructure services.
- Drive quarterly and annual planning cycles, maintain prioritized backlogs and aligned roadmaps across infrastructure domains.
- Define delivery KPIs and dashboard, provide transparent status updates, forecasts, and executive reporting.
- Manage dependencies across IT operations, security, applications, OT/plant systems, and vendors; lead cutover planning, release management and operational readiness.
- Build strong relationships with business units, product owners, PMO, architecture, and security; facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts.
- Implement delivery standards, playbooks, and templates, ensure complete, auditable documentation; conduct post-implementation reviews and drive process/tooling improvements.
- Champion automation, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code for repeatable, efficient delivery.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring on-site presence at our Ottawa location three to five days per week, depending on meeting requirements and other activities.

Education & Designation:
- University degree in related area
- IT process design preferably with MOF or ITIL certifications.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of related business experience.
- IT lifecycle and transformation management experience considered an asset.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive management experience.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience leading enterprise infrastructure operations, ensuring service availability, reliability, security, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement.
- Strong technical knowledge of cloud, on-premises, identity, workplace, and data platforms within a Microsoft-centric environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
