Royal Canadian Mint is hiring a Senior Program Manager, D365 Business Architect who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Applications & Solution Architecture the Senior Program Manager, D365 Business Architect is responsible for D365 Solution architecture, design, integration and deployment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Present to VP’s, Steering Committees and Executive Sponsors the overall business solution architecture to address Digital Transformation Project Priorities.
  • Work closely with technical teams, vendor partners and business leaders to recommend final solution design.
  • Work closely with the Director of Enterprise Applications and the Director of Data Architecture, Data Governance and Information Management to provide direction and guidance to the technical teams, and provide Business Leaders a vision of “target state” Business Capabilities.
  • Work with business teams and the system integrator on the design, configuration and implementation and advise on how to use D365 Finance and Supply Chain to meet their business requirements.
  • Review client business processes, business requirements and system design in order to recommend business process optimization and industry standards adherence.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops with business users, consultants and business leads to analyze and design solutions, and handle gaps detected during prototyping.
  • Configure processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&SC) to make sure the system works the way business users need it.
  • Work with the business stakeholders to streamline existing processes with D365 Finance and Supply Chain Best Practices.
  • Utilize software solutions developed by Independent Software Vendors (ISV’s) to meet the specific needs of the business.
  • Support D365 F&SC implementations by providing D365 expertise in working with Data Migration, System Integration, ISV implementation teams and Data Reporting teams.
  • Apply broad experience and knowledge to Business Groups on D365 Finance & Supply Chain modules, including Financial Management, Expense Management, HR Management and Payroll, Project Management and Project Accounting, Supply chain management, and Manufacturing.
  • Support Business User testing.
  • Conduct and provide User training for Business Users.

              Requirements

              • Technical diploma or undergraduate diploma in an Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology or corresponding education from work experience.
              • At least three (3) years implementing D365 Finance and Operations.
              • Working knowledge of D365 ERP implementations.
              • Deep functional knowledge in the Finance and Supply Chain Management modules, including General ledger, Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank, Consolidation, multiple company management, multiple currency management, and MRP.
              • Experienced in business process reengineering, preferably in D365 projects.
              • Knowledge in trade allowance management, credit and collection management, budgeting and project budgeting, project account, expense management, finance reporting tools, inventory costing and accounting, D365 data migration and integration, D365 IVS ecosystem.
              • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
              • Ability to collaborate with consultants, business users, functional and technical resources.
              • Strong communication and leadership skills.
              • Bilingualism preferred.
