The Mint is hiring a Shipper/Packager who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Reporting to the Supervisor of Operations, the Shipper/Packager is responsible for material handling duties, picking and packing of orders in shipping using scanners. Ensures shipping orders are processed properly through shipping product examination, packaging and assembly operations. Assists in the operation, set-up, adjustment of production machines and related equipment and maintenance of these machines.
This opening is to be filled on a continuous operation and/or shift work basis.
Qualifications:
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in one official language (English/French) is essential.
Education & Designation:
- Completed high school diploma
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or shipping environment is an asset
- Ability to lift 40 pounds on a continuous basis

Knowledge :
- Understands the appropriate compliance principles, standards and techniques to determine the quality of the Mint products including the appropriate inspection instrumentation and sampling procedures.
- Possesses a sound knowledge of the fundamentals of shipping process and procedures.
- Possesses basic knowledge of the Health and Safety principles and best practices.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical concepts, reading comprehension and mathematics
