The massive mother sits patiently on her hindquarters in a snowdrift, practically nose-to-nose with one cavorting cub as it stands on its hind legs,pawing at her left arm. The other cub stands in front of her on all fours, looking around at its frozensurroundings. Above the bears and to the right sideof the image rises a large snowdrift topped by two snow-covered trees.
The reverse also features a stylized polar bear paw print and the engraved word “CANADA,” the date “2013” and the face value of “25 DOLLARS.”
