Your coin re-creates the classic 1967 one-cent circulation coin design by Canadian artist Alex Colville, and features a full front profile of a rock dove inflight on outstretched wings. Meticulously engraved, this recreation of the original design allows fora more detailed view of some of the finer details such as its tail and wing feathers. The image is enhanced by the application of selective gold plating over the bird and all along the coin's rim. The reverse also features the engraved face value "1 CENT", the word "CANADA" and thecommemorative dates "1867-2017".
