Canadian artist Joel Kimmel has created a visually strikingdesign incorporating the Platinum Maple Leaf’s (PML) iconic logo, and the Queen’s effigy that was in circulation when the PML was introduced in 1988. Selectively plated in platinum, they deliver an eye-catching contrast to the gold maple leaf-shaped coin.
