Packaging
Your coin is encapsulated and ready to be placed inside a matte black wooden presentation case built by Canadian manufacturer Manubois. Inside the main compartment, you’ll find an elegant lily-themed coin insert that easily slides into the accompanying wood stand for an upright display. An additional tray holds a dusting cloth and a pair of archival gloves for safe coin handling; a welcome letter from the President and CEO of the Royal Canadian Mint; and certificates of authenticity issued separately by Crossworks Manufacturing for the diamonds, and the Royal Canadian Mint (for the coin) in the form of a serialized booklet. To minimize the risk of damage during transit, the coin, display stand and presentation case are all packaged separately but shipped together in one box for a memorable unboxing experience.

Fancy yellow diamonds are among the rarest gemstones on Earth, and there are 23 of them on this extraordinary piece: 14 pear cut and nine round cut (minimum total carat weight of 6.13). Originating from the Ekati Diamond Mine, owned and operated by Burgundy Diamond Mines, in Canada’s Northwest Territories, these Arctic-mined diamonds are a testament to over a year of meticulous mining, cutting and polishing.

The cool sophistication of 10 oz. 99.95% pure platinum meets the warmth of gold plating, creating a radiant contrast that perfectly complements the captivating hue of the yellow diamonds.

Designed by Canadian artists Chris and Rosina Reid, the coin’s engraved reverse celebrates the Canada lily (Lilium canadense) and is adorned with 14 pear cut and nine round cut fancy yellow diamonds (minimum total carat weight of 6.13) set in 18-karat gold mounts. Seven of those diamonds form the bejewelled centre of the largest lily, which is surrounded by eight additional jewelled appliqués and engraved elements that, together, show the lily in various stages of growth. A line-art representation of this arrangement appears on the obverse, which features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
