Special features
- The Royal Canadian Legion, a century strong. Honour The Royal Canadian Legion and its enduring contribution to community strength across Canada, grounded in service, Remembrance, and unwavering support for Veterans and their families.
- Features the Legion’s royal crest. The reverse design centres on The Royal Canadian Legion crest, a ceremonial emblem that is brought to life by gold, blue, white and red paint on the selectively coloured coin.

- A 2026 commemoration. Intended to be collected and shared, the $2 commemorative circulation coin continues the centennial commemoration started by the 2026 Fine Silver Proof Dollar, bringing it into the pockets and collections of Canadians.
- A symbol of gratitude, of national memory. A must-have for collectors and history buffs, and for all who support the Legion and its mission of assisting Canada’s Veterans and their communities.
- Limited supply. Limited to 50,000 keepsake cards worldwide.
Features
Includes the Poppy
Two Poppies appear on the coin’s reverse: a Legion member offers one to a child and their mother on the inner core, while the Poppy on the rim is based on the Legion’s logo. In Canada, the Legion championed the Poppy as a symbol of Remembrance and continues to steward its meaning through the annual Poppy Campaign, shaping a national ritual of Remembrance and support.

The reverse design by Canadian artist Vladyslava Pashchenko features an adaptation of The Royal Canadian Legion royal crest in the core, brought to life in colour on the colourized coin. The Legion’s Latin motto, “MEMORIAM · EORUM · RETINEBIMUS” (meaning “We Will Remember Them”), is set behind silhouettes of a Legion member offering a Poppy flower to a child with their mother. Inscribed along the outer rim are “THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION” and “LA LEGION ROYALE CANADIENNE”, along with “100 YEARS / ANS” and the double dates “1926-2026” reflecting the 100-year anniversary. The Legion’s Poppy logo appears between the two micro-engraved security marks. The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
