Small but attractive

This coin is not as colorful or pretty like the first one of the series. Hard to make out anything on this coin. The only true thing about it is the green leaf, RCM just missed the mark with this coin. Low mintage helps, but really expensive.

This coin displays well with the other Drusy stone coins in my collection.

Not as good as it may seem

I was very disappointed with the overall look and quality

Not what it seems like

Totally disappointed with this coin

Very good, but not exceptional.

Up for reading a lengthy review? If so, here it is..... In my opinion, the Drusy stone attachment on this particular coin is a bit overwhelming. Since they decided on a 1oz 38 mm diameter, I would have liked to have seen a thinner and a somewhat smaller piece of stone used. Since it is just attached to the surface, I think the smaller and thinner stone would have made a better balance with the smaller engraved background. Also, since I'm "nit-picking", if the squared off stem of the stone could have been more of a pointed shape it may have looked a bit more realistic. And since I'm acting as a designer here, I would have really went for the Gusto with the design of this series....meaning I would have produced them in 2 or even 3 ounces on 50 mm surfaces like many of the European mints produce. For example with this particular "Birch Leaf" coin now being a 2 or 3 oz thicker piece, I would have added a second and smaller Drusy stone leaf somewhere about the 2 o'clock position from the main leaf. Also both stones would have been "inset" into the coin rather than being simply attached above the surface and of course all background engraving would have been in "High Relief" as well. Yes...I know this all adds up to higher prices and is a concern for many collectors, but having more lower minted premium coins is what I would like to see more out of RCM in the future. I really like what design concepts RCM comes up with, only wish they would make more 2 or 3 oz premium coins designed in the manner mentioned above. With all that said, this coin is still very nice and it's overall quality is excellent.

Very nice coin!

Just got mine today and believe me the picture doesn't make justice because the green leave really stand out! Show it to a few person that I know and most of them say WOW! Highly recommended!

Since the Drury Stone can be found in so many colors may I please suggest that you use more of brighter and not darker colors shades. The darker shades are not nearly as spectacular and uplifting you can really see all the fine detail in the brighter colors the shade of the coin beautiful can Define detail like you can with the brighter colors I'm not nearly as impressed with this latest darker shade Stone. Just one final tip please send her the stones in the coin I know you were trying to make it look more like part of the tree the tree can still be centered in the coin little pet peeve. The stones sound so much better as the centerpiece of the coin when it's in the center of the Corn I'm not buying one of those coins to show off engraving as much as the beautiful stone that's on it all of your Engraving is exception

Hello and thank you for your feedback! We will take this back for future drusy leaf coin designs to center the stone in the design as well as look at lighter and brighter colours. Thank you

How many different colors are there can be produced with the Drury Stone?

Hello and thank you for your question! Drusy stones naturally come in a very wide range of colours from blue to purple, orange, green and brown.

I have the first coin in the series it took me a little convincing because of how expensive it is compared to others Ventures didn't do it very good Justice. Once I had the coin in my hand and looking at it closely I can really see where the extra money went. I've compared my coin two others of the same type and I definitely have noticed a difference in quality between each 1. Some are definitely lighter in color mine is a darker hue and has no black spots which I've seen in others. My question to you is I believe the first Rusty Stone was centered on the coin the new one looks off-centered quite a bit is that the case? I'd like to know why you did that

Hello! Thank you for your question. Since drusy is a naturally occurring stone, you will see variation between the colours of the stones, including black spots in some, and not in others. For the birch leaf design, we placed the stone off center and rotated it to make it look like it was an extension of the engraved birch branch. Thanks
