About the Design:

Designed by Canadian artist Celia Godkin, your coin features two sugar maple leaves. The obverse design features the fourth effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to appear on Canadian coinage, which was created in 2003, when she was 77 years old. The effigy is encircled with the Latin legend "ELIZABETH II D. G. REGINA", which means "Elizabeth II, by the grace of God, Queen."
