The Royal Canadian Mint is hiring a Program Manager, Enterprise Risk Management who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Risk Management the Program Manager is responsible for implementing processes, procedures and tools for the identification, assessment, measurement, management, monitoring and communication of risks and opportunities across the organization.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company insurance program including policy coverages, renewals, claims and recoveries.
  • Assist business lines and departments to develop risk management and risk response plans.
  • Provide training and certification for organization staff so that they can be aware of risks and try to avoid them.
  • Provide risk management support to key initiatives and projects.
  • Maintain strong relationship with internal and external risk management stakeholders.
  • Provide broad range of financial analysis as required (e.g. business case preparation and review, reviewing financial statements, developing performance and risk indicators, benchmarking, etc.).
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and training to a diverse group of stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in a related area and/or professional accounting designation.
  • Professional designation (e.g. CPA, CRM, ACII, CIP) and/or advance university degree (e.g. MBA) an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry and/or a legal background.
  • Experience with Enterprise Risk Management including COSO and ISO 31000 ERM frameworks and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to negotiate, influence and persuade others to facilitate change management.
  • Proven program management, organization, conceptual, intuitive, problem solving and multi-tasking skills and abilities.
  • Strong and broad financial and non-financial analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to deal with sensitive and/or confidential information.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required.
