The Royal Canadian Mint is hiring a Sales Coordinator, Bullion who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Planning & Operations, the Sales Coordinator, Bullion is responsible for responsible for coordinating and processing Bullion sales order transactions for assigned accounts to ensure continued sales, customer satisfaction and revenue generation.
This position works with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure all orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner. Duties include purchasing metal on behalf of customers, coordinating/tracking shipment requirements, providing sales collateral required by customers, effective customer service, invoicing of accounts, monitoring of account receivables and assisting in the forecasting process.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- University degree or certificate in Business Administration or Commerce. A combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in back office operations within financial services/mutual funds/securities industry is an asset; experience in internal audit/compliance is also an asset.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a sales or customer service role or servicing internal clients.
- Completion of Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook Course, Canadian Investment Funds Course, Canadian Investment Funds Operations Course is an asset.
Skills and Ability:
- Meet deadlines in a timely manner and able to work under pressure.
- Successfully manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload without sacrificing attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong customer service skills, analytical and computer skills.
- Works comfortably with minimal supervision and has demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results.
- Think creatively and initiate projects that can lead to process improvements.
- Team player with well-developed interpersonal skills; uses tact and diplomacy with customers.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Bilingualism preferred
Knowledge:
- Production planning experience and/or knowledge.
- International shipping logistics and carriers, and INCO terms.
- LBMA and standards, and precious metal trading terminology.
- RCM bullion and refinery products.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Intermediate level is required.
- Knowledge of DAX (order entry system).
