Can you see the big maple-leaf design and the flying Canada geese?

Standing tall in our eastern forests, the sugar maple is as hardy as the people it represents. Canada's arboreal emblem is magnificent in both summer and autumn. The tree's broad leaves form a dense canopy that filters the sun's bright rays on each of your coin's design, allowing light to spill down through the gaps and create an inspiring view from the ground. Can you see the maple-leaf design on your first coin? And how many Canada geese do you see on your second coin?

Step into a maple grove on both coins where you look "up" in awe overhead! Subscribe today!

Special features:
  • SUBSCRIBE TODAY*! Order your 2-coin subscription today and then relax knowing you will receive both coins (each 2 oz. 99.99% pure silver coin priced at $179.95)! Your credit card is charged only when your coin ships! Coins in your subscription include:
    • The Maple Leaf (priced at $179.95, also available as a single, ships upon ordering)
    • The Canada Goose (priced at $179.95, expected ship date of November 2018)
  • BOTH COINS OFFER AN IMMERSIVE VIEWING EXPERIENCE! Both of your coins pull you into the forest scene by creating the impression of standing beneath towering maple trees and looking up at the vaulted canopy of leaves overhead in either summer (your first coin) or autumn (your second coin)!
  • INSPIRED BY A NATURAL PHENOMENON! A thin gap in the coloured foliage on your first coin allows the proof silver finish to mimic the effect of filtered sunlight, which forms a maple leaf among the leaves; while your second coin uses the proof silver finish to shine like sunlight to create gaps that create unusual outlines that also resemble a formation of several flying Canada geese!
  • OUR BIGGEST CANOPIES YET! Each of your coin's 50mm diameter make them our two the largest of all our canopy-themed coins to date!
  • A STUNNING MIX OF ENGRAVING AND COLOUR! While finely detailed engraving adds life-like texture to the tree trunks and branches, each of your two coin's polished surfaces stand in for sunlight shining down between the coloured foliage.
  • INCLUDES SERIALIZED CERTIFICATES! The Royal Canadian Mint certifies all of its collector coins. Most of these are serialized certifications, meaning that each certificate is given a unique number, starting at 1.
  • LOW MINTAGE! Limited to 3,500 coins worldwide.
  • 2 OZ. PURE SILVER! Each of your coins are crafted from two ounces of 99.99% pure silver and have no GST/HST.

First coin design - The Maple Leaf:
Designed by Canadian artist Emily Damstra, your coin showcases the picturesque beauty of the sugar maple tree (Acer saccharum) on a bright summer day. The unique perspective creates the impression of standing at the base of an iconic Canadian tree, and looking up at the engraved trunks and branches that reach ever higher into the cloudless sky. Inspired by the natural phenomenon of crown shyness, the coloured maple canopy is marked by thin borders of light that form a distinctive shape among the leaves, where the shine of a proof finish stands in for sunlight. The reverse includes the engraved word "CANADA". The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Second coin design - The Canada Goose:
Also designed by artist Emily Damstra, the second coin in your subscription showcases the fall beauty of a classic Canadian maple species, the sugar maple (Acer saccharum). The view from the base of the trees offers a unique perspective on the engraved trunks and branches as they reach towards sunlight. Inspired by the natural phenomenon of crown shyness, the gaps in the coloured maple canopy reveal a proof finish and form the outline of Canada geese (Branta canadensis) in flight. The reverse includes the engraved word "CANADA" and the year "2019". The obverse features the face value "30 DOLLARS" and the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Packaging:
Your two coins are individually encapsulated and presented separately in Royal Canadian Mint-branded maroon clamshells with black beauty boxes.
