Coin design:
Your coin beautifully showcases four maple leaves of various sizes. These leaves are from a sugar maple tree (Acer saccharum), and are depicted as they would be found in the wooded areas of Eastern Canada; growing on a twig at the very end of a branch, they stir ever so gently in the warm summer breeze. Detailed engraving brings to life their characteristics, including the vein ridges that run through each leaf's five lobes.

Your coin is encapsulated and presented in a Royal Canadian Mint-branded maroon clamshell with a black beauty box.

Good value.

The "con" comment I have is: I would like to touch/feel the coin before giving it away as present, but cannot open the plastic container.

Aesthetic design and good value

The only flaw in the coin is the coarse field; it's still an attractive design and one of the better values in silver from the RCM.

A nice classic coin for every year.

It's a great classical design, and nice to collect different year versions of the same coin. Would be nice to have the same or very similar design each year but with some variation on the denomination from $1 to $100, but make sure the silver quality and content is commensurate with the denomination.

Poor packaging and shipping...

The product(s) was (were) not very well packaged, with some damage occurring...remember that many of these coins are going to collectors, and required to arrive in "mint" condition! Also the delivery service (I believe Canada Post) simply left the parcel outside, at my front door...while I was away for a number of days!!

Nice gift and good value if looking for something different.

Perfect for the occasion

I needed a gift that my budget would allow. My great-grandaughter had a 21st birthday and i wanted something to mark the occasion. She has received various coins from me in the past and this just seemed to fit perfectly. It is a beautiful coin and marks a very special date in her life.

Great coin for a gift

I find it is a very beautiful coin. I like Canadian coins which make the maple leaf stand out, naturally, but which don't look like flags or symbols. It is also a coin which is not too expensive and can be used as a gift to get someone to start collecting coins. (A friend or a child.)
