Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility
The Mint is committed to establishing a culture of equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (EDIA) where differences are valued and where employees are empowered to take an active role in addressing systemic racism, discrimination and barriers to inclusion.
As we continue to ensure we are an inclusive Mint, we are working to enhance accessibility for both customers and employees. The ALL IN Action Plan outlines our continued commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility. Three areas of focus – inclusion, accountability, and meaningful reconciliation – are at the core of that commitment.

Inclusion
Creating an inclusive workplace that enables all employees to achieve their full potential and supports the organization’s business goals.
The Mint is working to embed inclusion in every aspect of the organization and its day-to-day activities.

Accountability
Ensuring transparent reporting on corporate objectives, targets, plans and metrics, and providing employees with a sense of personal accountability through the achievement of individual objectives.

Meaningful Reconciliation
Demonstrating a formal commitment to building Indigenous business and communities through the achievement of Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR)* Committed status.
*Offered by the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB), the Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR) is an internationally recognized program that enables organizations to continuously improve workplace equity for Indigenous employees, opportunities for Indigenous business partners, and relationships with Indigenous individuals and communities. The Mint’s participation in the PAIR program is one of the core activities through which we continue to find ways to better collaborate with Indigenous partners not only to create our products, but in the day-to-day operation of our business.
The Mint is committed to being accountable and transparent. Published annually, the Mint’s Impact Report provides an opportunity to report on key sustainability metrics.

Accessibility
Accessibility is about ensuring our products, services, and workplace can be meaningfully accessed by individuals with disabilities.
The Mint’s Accessibility Action Plan, first established in 2022, was developed following consultation with individuals with disabilities from the public domain and respects the Accessible Canada Act.
We have worked to engage with several expert partners to help remove barriers and to make progress around our accessibility goals. This includes an advisory panel to help implement actions and develop programs to improve accessibility in areas such as employment, the built environment, communications, and technology.
We continue to seek feedback to guide our decision-making, increase accessibility of the built environment, communications and technology and deliver customer and employee experiences that are inclusive and respectful.
