The Mint is hiring an Advisor, Content Marketing who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Reporting to the Manager, Content & Events, the advisor is responsible for developing content for all marketing channels including English and French national social properties bringing customized, inspiring content to the masses. They are responsible for developing and creating targeted content for various customer personas, groups, and RCM dealers in B2C, B2B and B2G.
This position creates digital assets such as short form video, performs interviews, and is the tactical social media lead. They have the opportunity to contribute towards strategy, annual plans and engage with stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in an agile fashion with internal, external stakeholders, and creative agencies to ideate, define content goals, and deliverables ensuring the customer is at the core of our messaging strategy and is aligned with the RCM brand.
- Researching content and consumer trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing.
- Developing content tactical plans to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals.
- Creating content and digital assets for a variety of platforms including blogs, websites, and social media.
- Proofreading and editing content before publishing.
- Assist with managing content calendars and ensuring that the content remains consistent across all platforms.
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of assignments.
- Tracking customer and content analytics and generating reports and presentations as required.
- Keeping up to date with content trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring on-site presence at our Ottawa location three to five days per week, depending on meeting requirements and other activities.

Requirements
Languages Requirements:
Proficiency in both official languages (English / French) is required at the time of hire. If no qualified candidate fully meets the required levels, other candidate language profiles may be considered in accordance with the Mint’s Staffing Policy. The linguistic profile for this position is:
Reading Comprehension: C Advanced
Written Expression: B Intermediate
Oral Proficiency: C Advanced
Education & Designation:
- University degree or college diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related discipline
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of related business experience in content marketing
- High level of experience with marketing programs including customer communications in an ecommerce environment.
- High level of experience with short form video creation.
Additional Qualifications:
- Expert digital content writing skills, especially for social media.
- Extensive knowledge of most current digital platforms, technologies, trends, and tools.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, including optimizing organic search traffic through content.
- Strong visual point of view to deliver insightful feedback on designed content, including video.
- Ability to work collaboratively and with agility in cross functional teams to achieve results.
- Sense of urgency and proactive.
