Royal Canadian Mint is hiring a Coordinator, Product Management who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Reporting to the Manager, Sales and Marketing Support, the Coordinator, Production Management is responsible for monitoring, reporting and executing on product management activities that support the successful launch of products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including Product Managers, marketing, sales, and auxiliary groups.
- Accelerates workflows to ensure timely inputs into PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system; including creation of certificates, labels, ministerial documents, etc.
- Creates and maintains accurate marketing materials – e.g. sales sheets, image renders, product plan presentations, price lists, content files, for use by other departments and sales channels.
- Coordinates assembly of ministerial package submission and internal review of coin concepts.
- Participates in NPI meetings to ensure accuracy of PLM and product status.
- Responsible for generating artist agreements, requisitions and payments.
- Monitors and reports on workflows, identifies risks and mitigation strategies.
- Other projects as deemed appropriate by Management.
Requirements
- College diploma or certificate in Business or Marketing or a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
- Minimum three (3) years related business experience; preferably in a consumer-oriented product management support role.
- Significant attention to detail and data driven.
- Proven proof-reading skills.
- Ability to be and remain organized while coordinating and tracking multiple products with various deadlines.
- Possesses a basic knowledge of marketing principles that support product development and promotion.
- Experience with New Product Development and Introduction (NPD/NPI) process an asset.
- Experience with image editing, presentation and workflow process software.
- High level of integrity.
- Ability to collaborate with others while also exercising a level of autonomy.
- Pro-active and open to receiving and making suggestions.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Bilingualism is preferred.
