The Mint is hiring a Senior Program Manager, D365 Business Architect who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Applications & Solution Architecture, the Senior Program Manager, D365 Business Architect is responsible for D365 solution architecture, design, integration and deployment. This position bridges business strategy and technology execution ensuring that D365 Finance capabilities align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements and best practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Present to VP’s, Steering Committees and Executive Sponsors the overall business solution architecture to address Digital Transformation Project priorities
- Work closely with technical teams, vendor partners and business leaders to recommend final solution design and target state business capabilities while also providing direction and guidance to technical teams
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT teams to analyze current workflows and design future state processes, translating business processes and needs into scalable D365 configurations
- Develop functional, configurations and implementation design/documents with Technical/Business/vendor teams on system integrations, data migration, and custom deployment for D365 Finance and Supply Chain modules
- Lead and facilitate workshops with business users, consultants and business leads to analyze and design solutions for gaps detected during prototyping and support business user testing/training
- Propose and utilize software solutions developed by Independent Software Vendors (ISV’s) to meet the specific needs of the business
- Support D365 F &O implementations by providing D365 expertise in working with Data Migration, System Integration, ISV implementation teams and Data Reporting teams
- Apply broad experience and knowledge to Business groups on D365 Finance & Supply Chain modules including Financial Management, Expense Management, Project Management, Accounting, Cost Management, Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing
- Design and own the end-to-end technical architecture of the D365 Finance platform, including integrations, extensions and data flows
- Define standards for environment setup, CI/CD pipelines, code management and solution deployment
This position offers a Remote-Flex working arrangement, where you’ll primarily work from a home-based location with occasional on-site presence at our Ottawa location based on operational needs and activities identified by your people leader and other key collaborators.

Requirements
Languages Requirements:
- An intermediate level of bilingual proficiency in both official languages (English / French) is required. Other language profiles will be considered if a bilingual candidate is not identified
Education & Designation:
- Technical diploma or undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, and related areas or a combination of education and relevant work experience
- Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) is considered an asset
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of related business experience
- Working knowledge of D365 ERP implementation with a minimum of 3 years implementing D365 Finance and Operations systems
Additional Qualifications:
- Deep functional knowledge in the Finance and Supply Chain Management modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash and bank, multiple currency management, and cost management
- Experience with business process reengineering, preferably in D365 projects
- Knowledge of trade allowance management, credit and collection management, budgeting and project budgeting, project account, expense management, finance reporting tools, inventory costing and accounting, D365 data migration and integration, D365 IVS ecosystem
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to prepare and deliver presentations and training to a diverse group of stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills to ensure attention to detail and thorough analysis
- Proven ability to foster relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner that creates confidence in their knowledge and abilities
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive tactical execution and results
- Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure situations
- Proficient in M365 ecosystem and software
