As part of the Boutique team, you will learn about the tourism industry and will have the opportunity to engage in public speaking, problem solving, and team collaboration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Offer guided tours in both official languages.
- Act as an ambassador of the Mint and the City of Ottawa.
- Assist customers in the boutique.
- Provide a welcoming environment for all guests.
- Handle day-to-day operations related to tours and reservations.
- Meet and interact with people of different nationalities and cultures daily.
Requirements
We are looking for students who
- Are enrolled in a post-secondary education program
- Are willing to develop their public speaking skills
- Are fluent in both official languages (English and French)
- Are interested in being part of an energetic team that is representative of the Mint
- Are registered as a student in a recognized educational institution
- Available to work on weekends
- Can legally work in Ontario
