Designed by Canadian big game sculptor Karl Lansing, your coin represents a sculptural celebration of a Canadian icon. Carefully shaped to resemble a grizzly bear (Ursus arctos), a silver gold-plated embellishment emerges fromthe coin's flat surface to give it its multi-dimensional look and feel. The grizzly's distinctive hump and concave facial profile are prominent, along with its rounded ears. As the bear pauses mid-step to look to the right, one yearns to touch the statuette's ridged surface, which beautifully mimics the bear's furry appearance.
