First Coin Design:
The reverse design by Canadian wildlife artist Claude Thivierge steps into the remote Canadian Arctic landscape, where a polar bear (Ursus maritimus) mother and cub are standing on the edge of sea ice. The reverse includes the curve text "CANADA" above a maple flourish and the year "2020". The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Designed by artist Virginia Boulay, the reverse celebrates a Canadian emblem through its depiction of a sugar maple (Acer saccharum) branch with five leaves. The reverse includes the curve text "CANADA" above a maple flourish and the year "2020". The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Designed by artist Laurie McGaw, the reverse features a view of one of Canada's most famous landmarks: Parliament Hill in the nation's capital, Ottawa. The Centennial Flame in the foreground represents hope and commemoration as the flame rises up and transforms into maple leaves. Behind the monument is the Centre Block building and iconic Peace Tower. The reverse includes the curve text "CANADA" above amaple flourish and the year "2020". The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
