Canada’s arboreal emblem, the maple (Acer), is more diverse than the single leaf that adorns our flag.
In fact, the official symbol encompasses ten different maple species, with at least one species found in every province—a fact that makes the maple leaf a natural icon for this vast nation.
A variety of bullion coins and bars are available to purchase through select dealers. The retail price of bullion products is based on the international gold, silver and platinum market prices, which vary daily. Bullion coins do not have any fixed mintage unless otherwise stated.

The maple leaf has long been an internationally recognized emblem of Canada, its people and the land itself. But there are multiple species of maples, making it as diverse as the population it is often used to represent. This striking gold coin pays tribute to one of several maple species that are native to Canada: the sugar maple (Acer saccharum).
The obverse features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. The obverse also bears a special marking that includes four pearls symbolizing the four effigies that have graced Canadian coins and the double date of her reign.
