The Royal Canadian Mint is hiring a Project Assistant, Human Resources who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources Business Partner, the Project Assistant is an active member of a project team that will configure, test, and implement an applicant tracking system for recruitment, benefiting talent acquisition specialists, job applicants, and hiring managers. The main duties consist of compiling data and information needed to make the system operate smoothly and testing functionalities and reporting instances that need further work. The role is responsible for supporting the co-leads of the project that follow closely a project implementation plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the testing and implementation of the applicant tracking system (ATS) in the Human Resources System (HRS).
- Perform data entry to build templates in the ATS.
- Participate in testing process scenarios by developing scripts and reporting on test cases.
- Identify and eliminate system bugs to ensure processes are functioning in the ATS.
- Document instructions, procedures and training materials (including videos) as per defined and approved processes.
- Organize meetings and logistics with key internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- College diploma or certificate in related area or a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of related business experience.
- Technical system applications knowledge (HR field an asset).
- Experience with Azure DevOps for project management updates is an asset.
- Superior organisational skills and strong attention to detail are mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability especially with changing priorities.
- Result oriented attitude.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Team collaboration and inclusive mindset.
- Bilingualism (English and French) preferred.
